29 May 2019Tour of Britain visits Chirnside
The route for the 2019 Tour of Britain cycle race has been released today, and Stage 2 of the race (Sunday 8th September) is going to visit Chirnside.
Riders will be starting from Kelso, then cycling up through Coldstream, then on to Paxton and Allanton, then climbing up to Crosshill before heading down to Chirnside Bridge.
A fantastic opportunity to see professional cyclists in action - in our own village..

29 May 2019Jim Clark Rally - SBC Consultation
The organisers of the Jim Clark Rally have applied for a Motor Sport Order to run the event on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November 2019.
New legislation requires SBC to consider any potential impacts on local communities and businesses, and hold a public consultation.
